Photokina 2010 setup

Today was the day. The setup for Photokina 2010.
I woke up early in the morning ( befor my alarm clock rung). Couldn't eat or drink something. Was totally nerous, like I was the last days.
At 9 o'clock Kate and Onk arrived. A little bit later my Mums Friend Brigitte with her son.
Because of the fact that my parents are in vacations for 3 weeks and couldn't help me with the setup she was so kind to help me out.
So we drove to Cologne. As we arrived in the Hall where my exhibition is, I realized that there wasn't the lettering from my Name and exhibition title.
Again I wanna thank all the nice people from the Köln Messe who were so kind and phoned to the Marketing to ask where the lettering was, and opened an special entry only for us.

We need a long time for the 7 photos. I think it was only because everyone wanted to make it right and perfect for me. I was so overwhelmed that I stood there the most time paralysed and so I only stood there as an assistant.

It was great to see all the 7 images on the wall. I'm hopefull that nothing will break when the personal from photokina making the lettering over the images tomorrow.

Photoshooting with Lena and Antje

Yesterday Kate and I had a new testshooting with two beautiful Models we found on the street ( or in this case: In a supermarket and a Pub): Lena and Antje
We made a few portraits with different styles. I personally fell in love with Antje. An adorable and nice blond girl.

My September

I'm totally exited, busy and a chaotic this month.
Had a big meeting today for the Exhibition " art in the city" in my hometown.
From Octobre till november a few of my 7 deadly sins pieces will be exhibit in a paint store and the hole project is exhibit nearly a week in the town hall.

On sunday I'm driving to cologne together with Onk and Kate for the preparatory work for Photokina 2010.
From September 21 till 26 you can see my 7 deadly sins in Hall 5.1 Stand H-014.
On September 22 and September 23 Kate and me will be at the Photokina, and the Photokina Party.

I'm looking foreward for a few new photoshootings. Hopefull the weather will be good so that we can take the images outside the studio. Was a bad summer for taking photos.

I'm also searching new stylist, MUAs and Dress- or Accessoir-Designer for upcoming shootings who like to coloborate with me.

My Year of Exhibitions

After I was published two times in magazins last year. I will exhibit this year two times!
As I told you yesterday : my "7 deadly sins" project is shown on the Photokina 2010 from 21.09.-26.09.2010
Since today it's clear that the same project will be exhibit from 25.10.-07.11.2010 in Haiger for "Kunst in der Stadt" (Art in the city).
The Second exhibition will be in different shops and restaurants in Haiger and from 04.11.-07.11.2010 in the city hall.

Exhibition on Photokina 2010

Okay, I make it official now:
My 7 deadly sins project will be exhibit in September this year.
And the Place of the exhibition is: THE PHOTOKINA 2010!!!!

London

I'm back in Germany right now and my baggage I have a lot of inspirations from London.
I had a wonderful time there, even when I only used the trip for side-seeing and for meetings with other creatives. but this will come next time.
I felt in love with this city. Felt in love with the different types of human and different types of styling. simply inspiring.

I used to join Covent Garden and Camden. Wonderful places.
Loved all the little details in Campden and on the shop frontages there.

And of course, I visited Madame Tussauds

Me on the Millenium Bridge. I like the look of the bridge since I saw it first time in Harry Potter 6.

I'm hopefull to come back to London in the near future. But first I must organize all the new ideas in my mind and organize a few new shootings and maybe one or two Exhibitions for the end of the year.
